A fun part of this celebration is that a fishing license is not required when you fish from a bank or pier in any Texas State Park. So come on out and find out that life is better outside as you fish the shoreline areas of Eisenhower State Park.
Eisenhower State Park is located on the southeast shore of Lake Texoma, a lake known for its tremendous fishery and abundance of striped bass and catfish. Fishing reports indicate that the striped bass are schooling along the park shorelines every day. This event is hosted by the Red River Fly Fishers and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
