GRAYSON COUNTY, TX - The Grayson County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in finding out who owns several farm animals found Monday morning in the backyard of a residence west of Van Alstyne.

The Sheriff's Office says around 7 a.m. a rancher discovered two goats and two horses in the back yard of a residence. The homeowner opened the gate to the pasture and all four went in as if they belonged together. The animals were found in the 1,100 block of Farmington Road west of Van Alstyne.

If anyone has any information of whom these animals belong to or if you are the owner, they are encouraged to call the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office at (903)-813-4411 and leave a name and phone number, and a Deputy will contact you as soon as possible.
