GAINESVILLE, TX -- A railway in Gainesville re-opened Thursday morning.
It was closed Wednesday after a BNSF train derailed Tuesday night. Crews worked around the clock to clear 22 derailed cars and rebuild the track.
The train had been carrying iron ore, so no hazardous materials were spilled.
According to the spokesperson, service is restored but the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
