Garvin County drug suspect arrested in McAllen

GARVIN COUNTY, OK -- A drug suspect who led Garvin County deputies on a month long manhunt has been arrested.

Edward Heath McCoy was arrested Monday in McAllen, Texas.

The Garvin County Sheriff's Office says they got a tip and worked with US Marshals to find and catch McCoy.

McCoy was the last of 19 suspects being investigated for involvement in a meth ring near Lindsay.

Authorities say when McCoy was arrested they found 2 AK 47's and other firearms, all loaded, inside his vehicle.

They say McCoy was trying to cross into Mexico.
