Gas station clerk charged with murder of Velma teen

DUNCAN, OK - A Davis man has been charged in last week's murder of a Stephens County teen last week.

21-year-old Miles Sterling Bench was charged with first degree murder Monday morning.

Investigators believe Bench murdered 16-year-old Braylee Henry when she entered the Tee Pee Totem convenience store Wednesday night.

Officers found Henry's body in a field about two miles outside of Velma early Thursday morning.

Troopers said they found Bench driving Henry's missing vehicle near Weatherford, OK.

He is being held in the Stephens County jail without bond his preliminary hearing is set for August 13.
