Girl killed in Waurika house fire

WAURIKA, OK - An 11-year-old Jefferson County girl was killed Saturday in a house fire.

Friends of the victim said Kaylie Howard died Saturday morning when her home off Meridian Street in Waurika caught fire.

Fire officials have not yet determined a cause for the fire. The home is a total loss and friends said Howard's family lost almost everything they own.
