GRAYSON CO., TX -- Grayson County commissioners approved a bid to extend power in Loy Lake Park for the Holiday Lights display.

The project will take an estimated $52,000 dollars and a little over a month to install permanent electricity along an extended road in the park.

No county money will be used.

Jeff Scheider said, "We had to run a generator last year to plug in the LED light displays, so this will allow us to have the permanent power."

Holiday Lights will start the Friday after Thanksgiving.
