FOR JANUARY 2014

59th DISTRICT COURT

JOHNSON, JIMMY
48, from Houston, pled guilty, without a plea agreement, to Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and was sentenced by the judge to 40 years in prison.

KIRBY, JASON
33, from Cartwright, Ok. pled guilty to one case of Tampering with Evidence - Enhanced, three cases of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine - Enhanced, two cases of Burglary of a Habitation - Enhanced, Theft Over $1,500 Under $20,000 - Enhanced and Burglary of a Building -Enhanced and was sentenced to 17 years in prison on each charge.

HARTSFIELD, ROBERT
56, from Van Alstyne, pled guilty, without a plea agreement, to Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More and was sentenced by a jury to eight years in prison and a $8,000 fine.

MCFARLAND, LANCE
22, from Sherman, pled guilty to two cases of Aggravated Robbery and was sentenced to seven years in prison on each. McFarland also pled guilty to Injury to the Disabled and was sentenced to two years in prison

HAMON, CHRISTOPHER
45, from Whitesboro, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine - Enhanced and was sentenced to six years in prison.

MARIANO, JAMES
22, from Howe, pled guilty to two cases of Aggravated Robbery and was sentenced to five years in prison on each.

NORRIS, JAMES
28, from Bonham, was sentenced to five years in prison for failing to comply with probation previously granted for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

MCCRAW, CORY
50, from Sherman, pled guilty to Driving While Intoxicated-3rd or More and was sentenced to five years in prison.

NORRIS, BRANDON
35, from Telephone, pled guilty to Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to five years in prison. Norris also pled guilty to Burglary of a Building and Theft of Property Over $1,500 Under $20,000 and was sentenced to two years in state jail.

CASSIDY, KYLA
41, from Denison, was sentenced to five years in prison for failing to comply with probation previously granted for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Cassidy pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and was sentenced to nine months in state jail.

MARSHALL, JAMES
29, from Sherman, was sentenced to four years in prison for failing to comply with probation previously granted for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Morphine. Marshall was also sentenced to one year in state jail for failing to comply with probation previously granted for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

HASH, CANDY
33, from Sherman, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and was sentenced to four years in prison.

COLE, HEATHER
28, from Denison, was sentenced to four years in prison for failing to comply with probation previously granted for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Cole was also sentenced to one year in state jail for failing to comply with probation previously granted for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

52, from Denison, pled guilty to Theft of Property Under $1,500 With Two Or More Previous Convictions and was sentenced to four years in prison.

KINSEY, OTTIS
32, from Bells was sentenced to four years in prison for failing to comply with probation previously granted for Burglary of a Habitation. Kinsey was also sentenced to one year in state jail for failing to comply with probation previously granted for two cases of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Theft of Property over $1,500 under $20,000.

MILLER, KEELYN
21, from Van Alstyne, was sentenced to four years in prison for failing to comply with deferred adjudication probation previously granted for Injury to a Child.

LYDE, CHARLES
21, from Colbert, Ok. pled guilty to Burglary of Habitation and was sentenced to four years in prison.

26, from Sherman, pled guilty to Prohibited Substance in Correctional Facility in a Correctional Facility – Alprazolam, and was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication and a $1,000 fine.

30, from Sherman, pled guilty to Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to four years deferred adjudication probation and a $1,500 fine.

30, from Sherman, pled guilty to Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More and was sentenced to 10 years in prison and a $1,000 fine.

SMITH, GARY
41, from Denison, pled guilty to Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to eight years in prison and a $300 fine. Smith also pled guilty to Credit Card Abuse and was sentenced to two years in state jail.

WAKEFIELD, SAMUEL
53, from Denison, pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to seven years in prison and a $500 fine. Wakefield also pled guilty to Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail.

23, from Trophy Club, was sentenced to five years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for Burglary of a Building.

60, from Desoto, pled guilty to Possession of Marijuana Over 4 Oz Under 5 Lbs and was sentenced to four years in prison and a $1,000 fine.

SAWYER, TONY
24, from Sherman, pled guilty to Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and was sentenced to three years in prison and a $200 fine. Sawyer also pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 16 months in state jail.

44, from Sherman, pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to two years in state jail and a $500 fine.

55, from Sherman, pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance – Oxycodone and was sentenced to six months in state jail and a $750 fine.

24, from Denison, pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 13 years in prison and a $500 fine.

REYNOLDS, TRAVIS
37, from Collinsville, pled guilty to Forgery of a Financial Instrument and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, probated for seven years. Reynolds also pled guilty to another charge of Forgery of a Financial Instrument and was sentenced to two years in state jail, probated for five years.
