Grayson Co. veterans honor Veterans Day

SHERMAN, TEXAS -- Grayson County veterans gathered this morning to salute those who have served and are serving our country.

Sherman Mayor Bill Magers, State Representative Larry Phillips and Grayson County Judge Drue Bynum spoke to the veterans.

Vietnam veteran Dom Domingos, a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, also gave his sentiments.

"The greatness and strength of America is not derived from her government; it is derived from her people," Domingos said.

The ceremony was hosted by VFW Post #2772.
