SHERMAN, TX -- The Grayson County Law Enforcement Agency held its annual picnic at Pecan Grove Park in Sherman Saturday.

"This is our fourth annual picnic and fundraiser. Today we are raising money for our benevolence fund which allows us to give to police officers in their time of need and their families," James Scott, the president of the agency, said.

Hot dogs and hamburgers were served to local law enforcement and their families at the picnic that was held from 11a.m. to 6 p.m. The event also included a silent auction and a blood drive for an area officer who is battling breast cancer.
