Grayson County shelter re-opens after renovations

DENISON, TX -- The Grayson County shelter re-opens this week after a two month renovation project.

The shelter closed in early March to combat a bed-bug infestation.

Director Ashley Earls says they replaced furniture and beds and swapped carpet for flooring.

She says they've taken other steps to keep the bugs out such as installing a hot box to sanitize residents' belongings when they move in.
