GRAYSON COUNTY, TEXAS -- The Grayson County Appraisal District is moving to a new building.

Last night, Whitewright ISD gave the appraisal district the final "yes" vote they needed to approve the move.

Whitewright ISD is the 24th organization to vote "for" the move, out of the 31 taxing entities eligible to weigh in.

The appraisal district will be moving from 205 North Travis Street to 512 North Travis.

Proponents say their current building has structural damage. Because they are moving to an existing, vacant building, they will save money by not having to build from the ground up.
