Heart to Heart Hospice thanks social workers

SHERMAN, TX -- Heart to Heart Hospice paid a special honor to their social workers Thursday. Just in time for National Social Work month.

Heart to Heart honored about 20 social workers and supervisors from local hospitals, nursing homes, and other patient care centers in both Fannin and Grayson counties.

This was their *first annual award luncheon. But every year, they try to show their social workers the importance of their work.

"We try and give back and try and show everybody that we appreciate what they do and how they help not just our patients, but all the patients in the area," said Rusty Summit, Hospice Consultant for Heart to Heart Hospice.

They all received a plaque for their appreciation.
