LOVE COUNTY, OK -- A high-speed chase through Cooke and Love counties lands a woman behind bars Monday night.
Just before 5:30, Gainesville Police say they were working an accident on Highway 82 at FM 371 when 26-year-old Haylee Perry came up on the scene at a high rate of speed nearly hitting an officer and police unit. That is when the Oakridge and Gainesville police departments began the chase. Police say they stopped Perry in Love County near Thackerville. Perry was arrested and booked into the Love County Jail.
Her bond has not yet been set. She is expected to see a judge Tuesday afternoon.
