HOWE, TX -- Howe Police say they have handed over an alleged child abuse case at a local daycare to the District Attorney's office.

Police Chief Carl Hudman says his department handed the investigation over Tuesday morning.

Officers say two 3-year-old children were bruised after an 18-year-old employee of School Zone Academy allegedly picked them up and forcefully put them down. He says there is evidence of physical abuse.

Hudman says the DA's office will decide whether or not to file charges of "Injury to a Child".
