HOWE, TX, -- A crash on Highway 75 in Howe led to the arrest of a Van Alstyne man Friday night.
Howe Police say they responded to the one-vehicle crash around 9:45 p.m. and noticed a pistol on the dash of the car. When officers attempted to detain the driver, 23-year-old Roderick Jackson, he allegedly fled. He was caught after a short foot pursuit.
Police say they recovered marijuana and a loaded gun from Jackson's car. Officers also seized nearly $2,000 dollars.
Jackson is facing several charges including Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Resisting Arrest.
