HOWE, TX -- A family's home catches fire Tuesday morning after they left to go to the store.
Howe, Tom Bean, and Van Alstyne fire departments responded to the 700 block of South Maple street in Howe around 7 AM.
Officials say the family had left to go to the store.
The fire did not spread to any surrounding homes and was contained to just the front part of the house.
Fire Chief Robert Maniet says they did find some trash cans in front of the house on fire.
Maniet said, "Depending on if there is any kind of chemicals, any kind of bleaches, any kind of different combustibles could also be a cause of this."
The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
