IRS warns of tax scams
WASHINGTON - With plenty of Americans getting their tax documents in order this time of year the IRS is warning people, to beware of scams.
The agency says, they will never use e-mail to initiate contact with tax payers and will never ask for your credit card information over the internet.
If you think, you may be the victim of a scam, you can forward the questionable e-mail to phishing at www.irs.gov.
