WELEETKA, OK -- Prosecutors want to present evidence that a man threatened to kill his girlfriend one month before killing two Oklahoma girls.
Kevin Sweat is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Skyla Whitaker and Taylor Placker in 2008 and the 2011 death of his fiancee, Ashley Taylor.
Prosecutors asked to introduce evidence that Sweat allegedly pointed a handgun at another girlfriend in 2008.
He is not charged for that incident, and a judge is considering whether to allow that evidence at trial.
Sweat waived his right to a jury trial so the judge will be determine his guilt next month.
