HUNT COUNTY, TX-- A Greenville man charged with criminally negligent homicide, for a crash that killed a Paris man, was denied a bond reduction Wednesday morning.

Hunt County District Attorney Noble Walker says, 28 year old Mathew Daggs is being held on a $200,000, an amount he says is adequate for the offense.

Last October, authorities say Daggs was headed northbound on State Highway 224 when he crossed into oncoming traffic and hit another vehicle head on-- killing 48-year-old Billy Perry of Paris.

Daggs is due back in court on July 23rd.
