Judge to review DNA test results in Lester Bower case

SHERMAN, TX -- The appeals process continues for a man convicted of killing 4 people in a Grayson County hanger back in 1983, and sent to death row.

About four years ago, Lester Bower's attorney asked for DNA evidence from the murder scene to be tested.

Assistant District Attorney, Kerye Ashmore says that evidence was sent to a lab in North Texas, then to another lab in Pennsylvania.

The results are back in Grayson County and Judge Jim Fallon will now review the findings and determine if the DNA results are applicable to Bower's appeals process.
