Kellogg’s has issued a recall for its "Special K Red Berries" because of the discovery of glass fragments in some boxes.
Kellogg’s say that no one has been injured as of yet.
The recall effects boxes labeled:
11.2-ounce package with the UPC Code 38000 59923 listed as “Better if Used Before: DEC 02 2013 KNC 105 00:13 through DEC 02 2013 KNC 105 02:30”
22.4-ounce twin pack with the UPC Code 38000 78356 listed as “Better if Used Before: NOV 30 2013 KNA 105 07:00 to NOV 30 2013 KNA 105 08:51” and “NOV 30 2013 KNB 105 15:00 to NOV 30 KNB 105 17:05”
and 37-ounce package with the UPC Code 38000 20940 listed as “Better if Used Before: NOV 30 2013 KNB 107 17:31 to NOV 30 2013 KNB 107 20:05”
Kellogg's is urging anyone who bought one of these boxes to contact them to receive a coupon for a replacement
Consumers can get in touch with Kellogg Consumer Affairs by calling 1-800-962-1413, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. or visiting there website.
Kellogg also notes that Special K sold in Canada is not included in the recall.
