LAMAR COUNTY, TX -- Lamar County officials are now taking proposals for storm debris clean up.
The county decided Monday morning that contractors can start making proposals on storm debris removal and turn them into the county auditors office at the courthouse.
Officials say they expect to hear back from FEMA within a couple of weeks on whether the county will receive federal funds.
The county is estimating that Lamar County, excluding Paris, has about $15-million worth of damage.
