COALGATE, OK -- A routine traffic stop ends with a drug bust that is the first of it's kind for the city of Coalgate.

Coalgate police and Coal County Sheriff's deputies found thousands of dollars worth of black tar heroin on three people early Wednesday morning. They say they've never seen the hard core drug, in this quantity, in their county.

42-year-old Jacqueline Fritz, 45-year-old Daniele Butler and 51-year-old Willis McPherson , all of Dallas, were arrested after Coalgate police found $35,000 worth of black tar heroin and crack cocaine in their vehicle early this morning.

Investigators say Fritz was driving when police pulled them over for dim headlights in front of the courthouse around 1:30 a.m. When they searched the vehicle they found 4.5 ounces of black tar heroin and crack. Authorities say the three were headed from Dallas to Tulsa with the drugs.

"According to two occupants, the drugs were going to be sold once they reached Tulsa," deputy Jarel Bailey said. "To my knowledge, this quantity of heroin has never been discovered in our county. It's a good bust. It was a good job by the city of Coalgate and the Coal County Sheriff's Office," he said.

The suspects are facing several charges including drug trafficking, which is punishable by up to life in prison.
