Leonard officer returns from administrative leave

LEONARD, TX -- A Leonard police officer is back on duty after being placed on administrative leave last week.

The officer's involvement in a high speed chase that led to a shooting of one of two suspects was under investigation.

The Leonard city clerk says the leave of three days is standard any time there is a police involved shooting.

The chase on April 9th started near Greenville, making its way over to McKinney and ended at a gas station when one of the suspects was shot in the leg by the Leonard officer.

26-year-old Kaetlyn Green from Greenville was booked into the Collin County jail on an existing warrant out of McKinney.
