Local organization begins annual school supply drive to benefit DISD schools

DENISON, TX -- Monday, a local organization began their annual school supply drive to help students in need.

Gage's Pages began their supply drive at the Fastenal in Denison.

This is the second year the group is donating supplies to all the students at the Denison ISD schools.

The group was founded by Gage's parents, in memory of their son who passed away at 15 months old.

Gage's family say they want to remember him by helping other children in the community.

"He loves books and it started out as a book drive, and we just expanded it to school supplies in the summer," said Gage's aunt, Lacie Giasson. "It's kind of our way to cope with the loss of him and so we thought we would take our heartbreak and use it for something good in the community."

The school supply drive goes until Friday and for a list of locations you can log on to www.GagesPages.net
