A combination of very strong winds, falling temperatures and frozen precipitation will make Wednesday and Wednesday night dangerous for motorists. Freezing rain and sleet will change to snow before ending late Wednesday or early Thursday. Wind chills of 5 to 10 degrees...with air temperatures in the low 20s...can be expected. Roads will be icy Thursday morning but should melt during the day as skies clear and temperatures rise above freezing.
LOVE COUNTY, OK -- The Oklahoma Department of Transportation approved repairs to a county bridge over I-35 near Marietta Monday morning.
The bridge on Jacobs Road in Love County remains closed following damage from an oversized truck accident on June 26th.
A project to repair the beams is scheduled to begin Tuesday and is expected to take a month to complete.
Those travelling on I-35 in the area are encouraged to re-route using US-77.
