LOVE COUNTY, OK -- The Love County teenager charged with first degree murder in the death of his brother appeared in court Wednesday.
19-year-old Leroy Jefferson Junior appeared for a status conference where the Love County Court Clerk's office says his attorney made a motion for Jefferson to be evaluated for mental competency.
OSBI says back in December Leroy, his brother Jeremy and their father went to a friends home in Burneyville.
When Leroy allegedly picked up a shotgun and fired multiple times at his brother.
His bond has been denied.
Another court date will be set when his competency evaluation is completed.
