SHERMAN, TEXAS -- The suspected drunk driver accused of hitting and killing Grayson County Sheriff's Deputy Chad Key appeared in court today.

Online court records show that yesterday, Ricky Trent Stanley's defense attorney filed a motion to recuse Judge Brian Gary of overseeing Stanley's case.

This morning, Stanley appeared in Judge Gary's courtroom for a motion hearing. Officials say the court has several days to make a decision.

Stanley is charged with murder, intoxication manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
