ADA,OK-- Ada police say they're close to identifying the suspects who beat and robbed a man at a motel over the weekend.

Police say when they arrived at room 105 at the Quality Inn on Sunday, there was blood everywhere. Victim, Lewis Winters' brother, said he'd been staying there after winning a nearly $7,000 jackpot at the casino.

Winters claims he was beaten and at least $2,000 was stolen from his room.

First responder, Officer Brian Tomsovic, said they are pursuing a number of different leads and while no one has been arrested, they do believe they are closing in on some people.

Investigators also found items consistent with meth use in the hotel room. They found a broken glass pipe, a butane torch and a disassembled ballpoint pen. Police say they could not determine if those items belonged to Winters.
