Man burnt trying to put out grass fire

DENISON, TX -- A grass fire in Denison sends one man to the hospital.

Denison fire officials says a 66-year-old man was trying to put out a small grass fire in his yard, when his legs caught on fire.

He was care flighted to an area hospital -- approximately 12% of his legs were burned.

Firefighters say there is a possibility he could have 3rd degree burns.
