Man indicted for child sex crimes in Lamar County

LAMAR COUNTY, TX-- A Ft. Worth man has been indicted for child sex crimes.

Officials say 63 year old Henry Mayes, who turned himself into Lamar County officials last month, was indicted for aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with contact.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the parents of a 10-year old Lamar County girl say Mayes sexually assaulted their daughter.

Mayes has bonded out of jail since his arrest.

He'll be arraigned on March 18th.
