SHERMAN, TX-A man suspected of hitting and killing a Grayson county deputy while driving drunk was indicted for murder.
28-year-old Rickey Trent Stanley was also indicted for intoxication manslaughter--causing the death of a peace officer and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Investigators said Stanley hit Deputy Chad Key on Highway 82 last month, as Key was directing traffic.
Stanley remains in the Grayson county jail.
