BEDFORD, Texas (AP) - A suspect in a North Texas double slaying has been caught in Oklahoma and charged with killing his ex-girlfriend and her 8-year-old son.

Bedford police on Thursday announced Cedric Allen Ricks faces two murder counts plus an attempted murder charge in the wounding of the woman's 12-year-old son.

Oklahoma troopers late Wednesday arrested Ricks driving the victim's car. He's in the Garvin County, Okla., jail on $4.5 million bond. The stabbing victims were discovered hours earlier in an apartment in Bedford, about 10 miles northeast of Fort Worth.

Police say 30-year-old Roxann Diana Sanchez and Anthony Reyes Figueroa were dead at the scene. Her older son was transported to a hospital. His name and details on his condition haven't been released.

No information was available on an attorney for Ricks.
