Man wanted in Grayson County caught in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA -- The Grayson County District Attorney's Office, Denison Police, the U.S. Marshal Service and two task forces helped to locate and capture 17-year-old Armond Lamont Redd.

Redd was wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Denison Police say on October 1st, Redd pointed a revolver at a man in the 600 block of Sears Street and threatened to kill him.

Redd took off but was later found in California. Where police say he has a lengthy criminal history.

District Attorney Joe Brown says Redd is more dangerous than the typical criminals in our area.

Redd is currently in the LA County Jail awaiting transport to Grayson County.
