PARIS, TX -- Paris Police tell us a man has been charged with murder in connection with his wife's death.
Chief Bob Hundley says 42-year-old Byron Barrett was issued a murder warrant on Friday.
On April 28th, 43-year-old Donna Barrett was found dead in her home on Ballard Street.
Byron was arrested just days after the incident on unrelated charges including Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Police say he has been in the Lamar County Jail ever since.
