MARSHALL COUNTY, OK -- Marshall County authorities are warning of a potential medicare phone scam.

85 year old, Robert Henley, recently received a call from a woman claiming to be with Medicare who said they were sending out new cards.

She asked for Henley's current address and social security number.

Henley worked for the federal government for 30 years and knew to question the caller; who abruptly hung up.

Marshall County Sheriff, Ed Kent, warns people to hang up if anyone calls you asking for a social security number, bank account number, or other personal information.
