Maysville bank robber tied to recent crimes in Wyoming

MAYSVILLE, OK - Authorities in Garvin County said the man they believe robbed a Maysville bank earlier this month, is now holding up banks in Wyoming.

Garvin County Sheriff Larry Rhodes said the surveillance photos and the method used during two different Wyoming bank robberies are an exact match to the man who robbed the First National Bank in Maysville on June 9.

First degree robbery charges have been filed in Garvin County against Ben Wolters in connection with the crime.

Wolters is still at large.

Rhodes said he is not sure if Ben Wolters is the man's actual name or just a pseudonym.

He does not believe Wolters lives in the area.
