PITTSBURG COUNTY, OK -- A McAlester man facing first degree manslaughter charges pleaded not guilty in a Pittsburg County courtroom.
Ryan Shumway is accused of driving a boat on Lake Eufaula and crashing it into two other boats killing 55-year-old Gary McIninch.
Shumway pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released from jail on $2,500 bond.
OHP says two boats were anchored together when Shumway's boat hit the bowe going 30 miles an hour.
The impact caused his boat to go airborne and land on the other two.
He allegedly fled the scene shortly after.
Rescue crews recovered McIninch's body two days after the accident.
