McAlester teen charged with 4 counts of first degree rape

MCALESTER, OK -- A McAlester football player has been charged with 4 counts of first degree rape after allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old girl.

According to a court affidavit, the girl was living at her grandmother's house, where Joshua Peckio also resided at the time.

The affidavit states the grandmother became aware of the situation when a friend's parent found a note written by the girl claiming she was scared she may be pregnant.

The affidivat also states that Peckio had texted the girl on several occasions to come into his room, where they continued to have sex.

Peckio remains in the Pittsburg County jail with bond set at $150,000 dollars.
