Metal mailbox at post office leads to bust of suspected Durant drug dealer

DURANT, OK - A metal mailbox sent through the mail led Durant narcotics officers right to a suspected drug dealer.

Jeffrey Remshardt was arrested after authorities say he received the mailbox filled with high quality marijuana.

The postal service alerted narcotics officers after a K9 picked up the scent of drugs inside the package.

After delivering the mailbox to Remshardt's home on West Cedar an undercover officer reportedly found other drugs, guns, and paraphernalia inside.

Remshardt faces charges of drug possession within 2000 feet of a school and possession of firearm in commission of a felony.
