Mill Creek woman arrested in boyfriend's shooting death

MILL CREEK, OK - A Mill Creek woman accused of shooting her boyfriend in the head is behind bars.

Fifty-year-old Stephanie Arles is charged with first degree manslaughter, as well as a drug and firearm charge.

Johnston County sheriff deputies arrested Arles around midnight Sunday from a Mill Creek residence.

Investigators said Arles shot Larry Farmer at a home off Bellwood Road on Saturday.

An affidavit states the couple was arguing over a television show before the shooting.

Farmer died Sunday from his injuries.

Arles is being held in the Johnston County jail without bond.
