Missing Lindsay man's body found; two arrested

Before he went missing, Nathan Blankenship lived in Lindsey, Oklahoma.

He was reported missing February 4th from Oklahoma City. After a week of searching throughout Marshall County OSBI said a witness tip led them to Blankenship's body near Bowlegs in Seminole County Thursday evening.

"The past week and a half has been very hard on our family. Nathan had a big heart and would do anything to help anyone," said Mandi Blankenship Robbins, Nathan's older sister.

She was shocked to learn he may have been killed and that two women could be involved in the crime.

"We've made an arrest of two individuals who had contact with Mr. Blankenship," said OSBI public information officer Jessica Brown.

Brown says those two individuals are Jessica Cornwell and Adena Beasley. The two were arrested for unauthorized removal of a dead body and were booked into the Seminole County jail.

Blankenship's body has been sent to the medical examiner for an autopsy and OSBI will keep investigating.

"I hope we can continue to make enormous progress and find out who committed this murder if in fact it is a murder," said Brown.

Robbins said nothing will fill the void her brother's death leaves behind.

"The one thing that always stayed the same was our love for him and his love for us," she said.

And said she just hopes for closure.

"I do hope that the truth comes out on what happened," said Robbins. "And that justice is served."
