Accidental drowning at Lake Texoma

POTTSBORO, TX - Local authorities say the body of an elderly Grayson County man was found in the water at Highport Marina. Investigators say they believe 88-year-old Robert Stevens drowned.

Sgt. Rickey Wheeler with the Grayson County Sheriff's Office says Stevens went missing around midnight last night last seen in the Highport Marina area of Lake Texoma in Pottsboro. His body was recovered from the water near his boat around 11:45 a.m. Monday.

Wheeler says they do not suspect foul play. Mr. Stevens' body was sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
