ARDMORE, OK--The father accused of kidnapping his young daughter from her home in Waurika is now behind bars in Florida, and the toddler is home with her mother.

West Palm Beach Police said Bradley Goodson was arrested early this morning on two separate warrants. Goodson is accused of abducting his 17-month-old daughter Aubrey Goodson February 3rd.

The child was finally reunited with her mother last night at the West Palm Beach Police Department. Her mother, Amanda Edwards took a charter flight from Ardmore yesterday and arrived in West Palm Beach last night to pick up her little girl.

"I'm just like I said there's no way to words to even describe it, I don't want anybody to ever go through this but I know they do, missing children that's everyday and its sad it's very sad " said Amanda Edwards.

Police said Goodson took the girl two weeks ago for a weekend visitation and never brought her back to her grandmother who went to pick her up.

"When I was there to pick her up I knew something was wrong because at 5 till 6 I'm like where is he at he's not around here" said Lupe Edwards.

Police said Goodson drove the little girl 1,400 miles to West Palm Beach where he rented an apartment under a false name and introduced daughter Aubrey as Emily. The woman who rented him the apartment felt something was not right.

"Over the last few days this woman became suspicious when she started noticing simple things like this 17month old child didn't have the amount of clothing that she should have toy and immediate items a small infant would have" said OSBI Agent Richard Goss.

Authorities say Goodson slipped up and called the girl by her real name which prompted the woman to check online when she saw Aubrey on a missing children's website she took her straight to police

"I'm just grateful for the lady that did finally that notice who she was or that something was wrong" said Amanda Edwards.

According to reports online Goodson is currently being held in the Main Detention Center in West Palm Beach without bond.
