More money allotted for Paris storm clean-up

PARIS, TX-- Two months after the ice storm rolled through Paris the city is almost back to normal, thanks to extra cash from the city.

At Monday's meeting the city council approved an additional $50,000 to the city manager to finish off the storm debris clean up.

TNT disaster services was hired last month, and city manager John Godwin says the crews should wrap up in the next couple weeks.

Residents can still bring debris to southwest 7th and field road.
