Mother speaks out on Paris ISD sex allegations

PARIS, TX - Paris police continue their investigation of a possible inappropriate sexual relationship between a Paris ISD school employee and a student.

The student's mother, who we'll call Sally to protect her family's identity, is fighting for justice for her underage son. After claiming that a Paris ISD employee had sexual relations with him.

Sally spoke through community activist, Khufu M.C. Kush.

"This type of behavior we cannot have in our district; it's not allowed in our community, we are not going to allow this kind of behavior in our community and we are going to continue to speak out against it." said Kush

Sally claims the teacher's aide came over to her residence intoxicated and invited herself into their home looking for her son.

"She had actually went to his bedroom and got in his bed and the student said he proceeded out the back door, trying to elude this encounter." said Kush.

The teacher's aide remained at the residence, Sally not knowing what to do, pulled out her phone and filmed her. Those videos are now in the hands of the police.

Sally then got a hold of the teacher's aide's cell phone and called her husband to pick her up.

"The husband said this is not the first time this has happened with her." said Kush.

Paris ISD assistant superintendent Robert High says the employee under investigation has been fired.

"The district received a complaint alleging an improper relationship between an employee and a student." said High. "We immediately turned it over to the police department and we are cooperating with the police department as they go through their investigation."

The name of the employee is being withheld as police continue to investigate.
