HOWE, TX -- Crews are working to clean up the area after a train derailed Friday afternoon.
According to Howe Sergeant Michael Hill, around 3:50 p.m. 5 train cars derailed at Hughes Street and Tutt Street.
Police say the train cars were carrying rock and limestone.
They say they are investigating what caused the cars to overturn.
Crews will be working through out the night to clear the area.
