DENISON, TX -- A man accused of killing a disabled Denison teen in January of 2013 appeared in court Monday for the first day of his trial.
Jury selection got underway in the case of 51-year-old Robert Gray Junior.
Gray's charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend's autistic son, 15-year-old Brandon Leon White.
An affidavit states that Gray bound and gagged White, who died of asphyxiation.
Gray is also charged with aggravated assault, manslaughter and injury to a disabled person.
District Attorney Joe Brown says if convicted of murder Gray could face up to 99 years in prison.
