DAVIS, OK-- Two people have been brought to the hospital after nearly drowning at Turner Falls Park.
According to Davis Police Chief Dan Cooper, A 12-year-old-boy went into the Blue Hole Swimming Pool to see how deep the water was. Cooper says the boy did not know how to swim and started to have some difficulty.
He says the boy's 19-year-old uncle, who also did not know how to swim, went into the water to get the boy out when he also began to have difficulty.
Cooper says both were taken out of the water by lifeguards and bystanders. The 12-year-old was taken to Mercy Hospital in Ardmore for observation and the 19-year-old was flown to OU medical center. His condition unknown.
